Dante's Deferno (unfinished)
Controls: Arrows or wasd to move, mouse to aim and shoot.
Didn't quite make it in time, but boy, did I have a good time. :D
I present to you my very own No Man's Sky.
What's missing:
-Audio
-Four enemy types
-A LOT of graphics:
-titlecard
-intro
-outro
-quite a few animations
-a more fitting player character
-pespective thingies
-floors
-stuff to populate the place
-the four missing enemy types
-the final boss
-More (and smarter) enemy movement
-A more balanced/natural movement
-A good name
To be honest I was absolutely sure it'd end up unfinished the moment i decided to ditch the 1-bit-graphics in favor of something different. It just wasn't fun to do this in a straight top-down, black and white way. Afterwards the whole thing kinda went haywire with me trying to implement whatever i felt like trying. And now, we have a procedurally generated... thing.
My first procedurally generated thing.
I'm okay with that.
Eventually I'll fix the things above, but for now this is what I made in 72 hours - give it a try and tell me what you think.
